This is my very first attempt at blogging. I am really looking forward to utilizing this means of communication to share my thoughts, feelings, musings, emotions, personal victories and struggles, family news, etc. etc. Hopefully, I will be able to share regularly of my personal encounters with God's amazing grace, because I have come to realize that life is a continual and consistent experience of His sustaining, strengthening, supplying, all-sufficient grace.
Today, I was reminded of His saving grace as Teresa and I witnessed the wonder of the spiritual birth of Dannon Roney. Dannon's parents came to us a few weeks ago, sharing with us that Dannon had really begun to show an interest in spiritual things - asking questions about being saved and going to heaven. Teresa and I talked with Dannon, and were very moved with his child-like faith. We gave Richie and Stephanie - Dannon's parents - a booklet we have been using for several years and asked that they go through it carefully and prayerfully with Dannon. After reviewing the booklet, they met with us again and Dannon assured us of his faith in Jesus Christ as his personal Savior. Hallelujah!! What a Savior!!
This is the beginning of a new adventure for Dannon as he begins the journey toward spiritual growth and maturity. I know God could have done this without my participation, but I am so thankful for the great privilege of once again witnessing the birth of a child of God.
